My name is Johannes Gruber and I am the founder of the luxurious Lärchen Loft. Basically, I am a nature-loving person and have built a holiday home from natural materials. The larch I used was harvested from my forest. I designed this cozy place for you with hard work by hand. Relax and enjoy your stay.
The Luxurious Larch Loft is in the perfect location to get activities going. The location in a small sunny village, surrounded by pastures, forests, breathtaking mountains, lakes, and much more makes it easy to get away from it all.
My Story
Growing up in the sunny village of Taisten as the only boy in a small farming family, I was influenced early on by my close connection to nature and the values of hard work. After secondary school, I was a year in a craft school. I learned basic carpentry and metal fitting skills there, but I decided to become a car mechanic.
Nevertheless, I continued to cherish my childhood dream and dared to move to the USA, without any previous knowledge of English, to complete my training as a helicopter pilot. This formative time not only enabled me to realize my dream but also to get to know a wide variety of cultures, people, and places. As a guest and friend, I was warmly welcomed in numerous places and families, which awakened in me the need to welcome others, like you, to my beautiful holiday resort and holiday apartment.
These diverse experiences from my career have not only shaped my professional career but also broadened my perspective. The passion for my homeland, the love of hospitality, and the desire to create a welcoming atmosphere are reflected today in my luxurious larch loft in the Italian Alps.
